This Saturday, June 9th, is the second Saturday of the month-which means that there is a day of family-friendly activities planned at Sonnewald Farm in Spring Grove!
Every second Saturday through the end of November from 10:00am-2:00pm (or later!) there is a community building event called Second Saturdays at Sonnewald. There are vendors, demonstrations, weed walks, games, live music, etc. The activities are centered around creating a healthy and thriving community.
This Saturday, after the main festivities end at 2:00pm, Awakening the Dreamer York will be hosting a Gratitude Gathering at the Sonnewald Fire Circle (behind the store, enter through the lane at 1516 Lefever Lane, Spring Grove). The Gratitude Gathering begins at 3:00pm. Please bring a journal and a pen.
There will be a weed walk from 5:15-6:45, lead by Willa Lefever. She will lead us around the Sonnewald Farm, pointing out plants growing on the property (what some people might call "weeds", but others call food and medicine!)
At 7:00pm, there will be a drum circle led by Peter Scheer from Camp Hill. Peter will have drums to use, so no need to come with a drum! No experience necessary!
These events are all free and family friendly. All events are held outdoors, so please watch our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/AwakeningTheDreamerYork/ for weather-related updates.
We hope to see you there!
